The RV-12 will use hydrolic brakes. Rudder pedal blocks were split apparrt and eventually used to fasten the steel tubing to the nutplates of the firewall shelf.The assembly was complicated which allowed me to put the brake sylenders backwards. The correction lasted only 45 minutes. It also brought to attention a K1000-8 that I mistakenly used twice. It was fairly easy to remove the nutplate and replace it with a K1000-3. This worked much better in the fastening of the bolts that held up the brakes.
The next episode will involve around the hydrolic tubing that must be attached to the cylinders and wheel brakes.
